Declaration of Faith
We believe:
- The Bible is the word of God. That the writers wrote it under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. That God uses it to communicate with
his people who need to follow it as if God was talking to them face to face (2 Peter 1:21). - There is only one God. That God is eternal and exists in three persons who are the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost (2 Corinthians. 13:13).
- That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father. That Jesus was conceived of the Holy Ghost. That Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That Jesus ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor (John 3:16).
- That everybody has sinned and needs repentance, as commanded of God, in order to receive forgiveness of their sins (Romans 3:23).
- That faith in the blood of Jesus Christ is needed to obtain justification, regeneration, and the new birth (John 3:1-6).
- In sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost (Hebrews 10:11-12).
- That Holiness constitutes the standard of living God wants for all who are part of His people (Matthew 5:8).
- In the baptism with the Holy Ghost. That a clean heart is a condition to experience the baptism with the Holy Ghost (Mark 16:17-20).
- Speaking with other tongues is part of the spiritual gifts and was experienced by the disciples on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:38).
- Water baptism should be done by immersion. That all who repent should be baptized. That water baptism should be done in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost (1 Matthew 28:19).
- That divine healing is a promise of God, and it is offered to everyone. That in the atonement Divine healing is provided (James 5:14, 15).
- In the celebration of the Lord’s Supper (John 6:32, 35, 56, 63).
- In the premillennial second coming of Jesus. That first, Jesus will resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. That second, Jesus will reign on the earth a thousand years (2 Timothy 2:13).
- In the resurrection of the body. That the righteous will receive eternal life. That the wicked will receive eternal punishment (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18).
- That Angels are messengers of God and that he uses for the purpose of his worship and that they protect and deliver God’s children in danger as well transport saved souls (Psalm 34:8).
- That Demons were created good by God and were angels in the service of the Lord in heaven and became Satan after their fall (Timothy 2:11-14).
- That the Church is formed with sanctified Christians all over the world and that Jesus Christ is the Supreme Chief of His Church (Jude 2-6)
- That Christ will return to take with Him all the dead and living Christians; that he will reign with them for a period of one thousand years and that he will judge and condemn those who don’t obey His words at the end (Revelation 20:4, 15).
